grades

I found out I got an A- in my International Relations class which I’m super excited about since it was definitely a difficult class. I’m taking a break until January which is sort of a bummer, but I am enjoying reading books for pleasure for the first time since October. My plan is to get a lot of reading done in areas that I’d like to take classes on so I’m more prepared than I have been for my last two classes. Turns out that even in the continuing education level at real schools you’re expected to know something instead of being spoon-fed the basics. :o)

I loved my professor this semester who was well versed in pretty much everything. She knew dates and places and names and details and still managed to make her lectures totally engrossing and engaging. I liked that she invited debates and discussions and didn’t always agree with you but always let you make your argument. So stimulating. Unfortunately, she only teaches one certificate class and one masters class, but I already plan on taking another from her if I decide to get my Masters from NYU (starting to think about going to Columbia, but I’m a few years away from that just yet).
