giraffe update

We named the giraffe Nigel, because, well ,they seem like an Oxford educated and British sort of animal. So far all the kids who have been to our apartment and are old enough to recognize giraffes love him. At the hospital gift shop at Columbia Presbyterian they sell a giraffe that is a little smaller than Nigel and sometimes I think it would be fun to have a little heard – good thing we really don’t have the space for it. He’s a little creepy in the dark though, mainly because we sometimes sing the giraffe song from SNL and their Staten Island Technical Institute
documentary about giraffes portrays them as less than friendly. See below:
