valentine's day part one

This year I decide to celebrate Valentine's Day one day early since Jon's been working late and I stayed home from church with sick Jacob and had time on my hands. It is maybe going to be a tradition to have Chicken Parmigiana (something Jon likes to order at Italian restaurants) with the Mozzarella cut into heart shapes. That's as cheesy as I can handle. Effort in this area is not my forte. Last year the Petersens were in town and they stayed with Jacob while we went to church so Blaine ended up making the Chicken Parm with the heart shaped cheese cut outs. I don't think I took pictures last year but I did this year and since I used fresh mozzarella, they were extra melty and looked better before than after.

For dessert there were brownies frosted with red sprinkles and a powered sugar heart.

And the love can spill into tomorrow with leftovers for lunch.
