last play dates with teis

Intrepid Aircraft Carrier:


Awesome place to visit because there are airplanes and helicopters and boats all in one place. Also lots of space to run and things to climb on inside the ship. Jacob was in heaven.

The next week we went to the Aquarium out by Coney Island. The place needs some updating but we had a good time. We spent our time chasing them the boys from tank to tank where they pushed toy cars on the curbs and railings, and watching a sea lion performance, before heading home.






One great thing about these boys together is that even though we were often taking one hour train rides they would play together with their cars, coloring book, snacks, and look out the windows with out much complaint. The hardest part was keeping Jacob from falling asleep on the way home.

I was bummed to have to say good bye to them. I learned that Jacob misses them too when we went to the Brooklyn Children's museum earlier this week and as soon as we got there, Jacob started looking around and asking for Teis. I was amazed as we'd only been there with them once and it was over six weeks ago. He's mentioned Teis a few times since. Interesting to see how his little mind works.
