With my mother in law living just two hours north** for the next couple of months we’ve decided there’s no better time for me to make my first quilt. Here’s are the soft flannel fabrics I picked:
And here are some beginners quilt patterns that I like. Suggestions? Votes? I can’t decide.
I’m currently leaning towards doing the middle one, but yesterday I was set on the bottom one so I’m open to suggestions and new ideas if you've got them.
**I don’t think I ever posted about how Blaine is working for a consulting firm that has him assigned to a hospital in Hartford, Connecticut for the next several months so we’ve been taking turns going back and forth on the weekends.

Yay for you! So excited for your first quilt. I never started on mine. Shocking right? I have intentions to start though. . .
I vote for the top pattern. I actually had that one as a choice for the quilt for Devin. My second vote is for the middle one. They'll all be cute though--good luck.
I vote for the top or the middle one myself! And how fun that you are going to do a quilt....best of luck. I know my last sewing extravaganza was interesting (of course I was a Junior in high school....but I don't think my skills have changed. Maybe you get magical powers to make cute things when you have a baby.)
