The deal with this computer is that we're not getting another one for 5 or 6 years and I haven't let Jon replace the one he got when he got home from his mission until now. So he's been tracking the progress of the computer ever since he ordered with Daniel in December. The day it arrived, he made me stay home until it arrived so that I wouldn't miss it. In the end I was glad I stayed home because it was huge and heavy and would have been tough to bring upstairs on our own... Okay I guess we could have drug it down the hall in the elevator then down the hall to our apartment, but this way, the FedEx lady, Tiana, was able to hassle me about how I online shop too much and always answer the door holding the baby. The public acknowledgement that I am on a first name basis with the FedEx delivery lady should keep me from online shopping again for a while.
Excited about opening the box:
Look how creepy the packaging is:
A very large computer, although it is surprisingly quiet:
Success! Now he wants games with better graphics. (HHS'rs notice the hockey player's name is Wolski. Makes me think of cigarettes and mouthwash every time I see it):
Keeping an eye on things:
Creepy alien on the tower:
I told Jon I'm covering it with a sticker of my choosing as soon as I find one. Also, I changed the settings so that the tower glows pink, and there are three different shades of pink so I'm going to keep it pink for a while.

The day after the computer came and Annalisa realized she did too much online shopping and vowed to quit for a while, she purchase $100 in baby clothes from Macys online...
*Blog fight* In my defense, it was his idea. He got the email about the 75% off sale and filled up a shopping cart with suggestions. I was just the one with the gift card!
Why in the world is there a creepy alien on the computer!?
I like that you know the FedEx lady. Don't stop online shopping! I like seeing what you buy!!
