Jon spent yesterday working from home. When I came home after class at 9, this is how I found him.
The TV was being used as a second monitor, the laptop was acting as a news ticker so he could follow what was going on in the news, and the raised coffee table made the desk into an L-shaped one.
Frankly, this makes me a little nervous, as for over a year now Jon’s wanted two monitors at home like he has at work. I’ve talked him down from two 17 inches, to one 22 or 24 inch (a planned black Friday purchase), but I’m wondering if that will be big enough to meet his needs!!

A clever use of his home furnishings I must say. My cousin uses her tv for their monitor, it's a freakin huge cool one, Mark has always wanted 2 monitors as well. But he dosent' actually "need" them. He just thinks it would be really nice to have. I think it will just take up extra space. But since we only have a lap top I guess it dosen't really matter now does it.
When I first saw that picture I thought he was in a home office. Not just a regular living room. ha ha
I love this post, and especially the picture after hearing you describe it on the telephone yesterday!
Sarah it's not only a living room. It's also the office, bedroom, dining room, laundry area. :)
Jamie! Can I link your blog to mine?
BAHGAHHAHAHAHA jon you're a CRACK UP!
You know I think Jon and Ronny would get along. We now have 3 almost 4 fully functional computer towers, 2 flat screen monitors, 1 laptop (2 if you count Ronny's from work that he uses daily)...it's all hooked up...it's like we own a small office or something lol
